Directional Couplers
MEGA INDUSTRIES offers a comprehensive line of super high power directional couplers for power monitoring, signal mixing, signal sampling, and branch line feeding. Array directional couplers, crossguide directional couplers, and topwall directional couplers may be selected for optimum space utilization in a feed system layout. Typical electrical specifications over a 10% waveguide bandwidth are as follows:

Other packaging configurations are available as well as directional couplers in reduced height waveguide, heavy wall waveguide for high-pressure applications and special flange configurations.
When space is at a premium, we can provide minimum length directional couplers that provide excellent performance as power monitors, reflectometers, and signal injectors. For increased resolution of return signals, separate values of forward and reverse coupling may be selected. All electrical calibration is directly traceable to the National Bureau of Standards.
