Waveguide Switches

MEGA INDUSTRIES offers a comprehensive line of waveguide switches, available in many configurations. We can provide you with both manual and motorized to meet the requirements of your microwave transmission system.

Our waveguide switch line includes: waveguide shutters for personal protection in multiple transmitter applications; three-port patch link assemblies for infrequent, preplanned SPDT operations; the conventional “T” configuration, for extremely high power use or where very high port to port isolation is required; and an E-plane rotary transfer configuration for stand-by transmitters or matrix building elements.

Waveguide Shutter Switch

waveguide switchMEGA INDUSTRIES’ waveguide shutter switches virtually eliminate system downtime! Manufactured for high power waveguide maintenance and diagnostics applications, these inline Waveguide Shutter Switches let you inspect one cavity at a time – without powering down the entire system.

Completely shutting down a Klystron or a magnatron power source can be costly. MEGA waveguide shutter switches let you isolate and power off one feed at a time – resulting in a significant savings in operating costs.

MEGA waveguide shutter switches retrofit easily to your existing equipment and are available in a wide range of high power component sizes ranging from WR430 through WR2300.

Waveguide Transfer Switch

waveguide switchMega Industries waveguide transfer switches and patch panels offer unsurpassed performance in your waveguide system. Whether you need a three port patch link assembly for infrequently, preplanned SPDT operations; the conventional “T” configuration for extremely high power use or where very high port to port isolation is required and/or E-plane rotary transfer configuration for stand-by transmitters or matrix building elements, our switches are designed to meet your exacting requirements. Our “T” and transfer switches are available in both a motorized and manual drive configuration. All transfer switches are equipped with microswitch interlock position indication, as well as, visual indication.
