Mega Industries C-Band waveguide components are often used in long-distance radio telecommunications and high-energy physics research applications. C-Band is also used for satellite communications and weather radar systems.
Microwave Techniques LLC (Mega Industries & Ferrite Microwave Technologies) offers the widest line of high-power C-Band waveguide components – from rigid/flex assemblies, to circulators, isolators, loads and beyond.
About C Band
The letter “C” in C-Band stands for “compromise.” Essentially, it is a compromise between the S and X frequency bands.
As defined by the IEEE, the C-Band is a frequency range that is classified as:
|Frequency Range:||4 to 8 GHz|
|Wavelength:||3.75 to 7.5 cm|
Microwave Techniques: Capabilities
Leveraging multiple legacy product lines (Mega, FMT, MCi, FXR) – the Microwave Techniques group offers an expansive line of high-power microwave components. In addition, we offer RF and microwave components that range from 50 MHz to 50 GHz that handle power levels ranging from 5 W to well over 50 MW.
We work with a broad range of clients demanding high standards. Our team is well-equipped to exceed those standards. Microwave Techniques continually improves through advanced research and product development. We provide a range of critical services for our clients – from design, engineering and customization – to evaluation and refurbishment for a variety of microwave devices.
Whether it is precision manufacturing, custom engineering, assembling components in our ISO class 5 clean room, or testing devices in our lab – the team at Microwave Techniques will work with you every step of the way. Our engineers work together with our clients to develop the most cost-effective methods to meet their needs.
C-Band Waveguide Products
Microwave Techniques C-Band waveguide products range from dummy loads, to circulators, isolators, sweep bends, rigid rectangular waveguides, directional loop couplers, flexguides, transitions, assemblies and more.
To view our commonly manufactured C-Band waveguide products, we welcome you to visit our WR137 and WR187 waveguide pages. For circulators, isolators and duplexers – we welcome you to visit our partners at FMT.
