Mega Industries manufactures waveguide circulators for use in RF applications. We consider circulator development in most high power waveguide sizes. Monitor couplers are provided upon request. Typical material is Aluminum Housing (A356 T51, RoHS passivated), Steel (Zinc passivated), Copper cooling channels. For insertion loss and other specifications, see the table below. We design circulator configurations for all power levels, in frequencies ranging from 56MHz to 45GHz.
Our designs place emphasis on the selection and bias point of ferrite material to minimize insertion loss and maximize isolation at the frequency, bandwidth and power level of interest. The design and power handling capability of a circulator is determined by the sum of the forward and reflected power, the latter being a result of any mismatch present at the output of the device.

Custom RF Circulator Design
Custom modifications for operation at lower RF power levels are possible upon request. We consider development in all coaxial and waveguide sizes. Additionally, we engineer and fabricate high power circulators with 6-1/8″ coaxial inputs.
Mega developed a proprietary rack-mounted temperature control unit that automatically fine-tunes circulators based on thermal feedback from the cooling circuit.
